1.What kinds of service does Zelfi offer?

Zelfi AG offers a nodal point for the following target groups: the owner of mobile phones, advertising enterprises and the developers of software. The owners of mobile phones are invited to download games either free of charge or with costs as well as any other software. In return, they agree to the condition of adverts faded in exclusively during the use of this software. On the other hand, enterprises of any branch or sector can transmit their adverts on mobile phones. Software engineers and software developers are able to offer the download of mobile games and other mobile software on Zelfi’s platform.

2. How can I get mobile games and mobile software from Zelfi?

Just use your Internet to download games or software. You can easily transmit the downloaded game or software from the PC to your mobile phone by using Bluetooth, Infrared or cable. There is also the possibility of enlisting your mobile number in the drop-down menu. Within a few seconds you’ll receive the requested installation text-message, which initiates the download of the mobile game. Please make sure that the WAP-access is activated before the installation text-message is requested.

3. How many games or software can be downloaded for free?

There is no limit of downloads from the Zelfi platform. When it comes to the download of advert-financed applications it’s merely the user fee of the occupied network operator or the connexion establishment for the transmittal of the sales message that is liable to pay costs.

4. I haven't received my download. What is the problem?

Please make sure that WAP Push is enabled on your cell phone. Depending on the make of your phone, you need to set the WAP Push setting to "On", "Allow all", "Always", or "Receive all".

5. Is there a temporary use of mobile games?

The software is available as long as the user agrees on getting sales messages during the use of software and games. If the software-manufacturer wants to end sales and distribution offers, the software will be withdrawn from Zelfi’s website and cannot be started again, even when it’s already downloaded on a mobile phone.

6. How much money do I have to invest when playing Zelfi – mobile games, e.g. for online – rates?

Due to the transmittal of sales messages there will be small “online” rates callable. Previous to the first dial-up your approval is needed. Without your approval no connexion can be established. Normally, text-messages will be settles in GPRS- data packets (about 10kB). In general, such a packet implies approximately 5 sales messages and costs around 9 Eurocents, although the price is up to the network provider. That means, during a playtime with up to 5 sales messages received your network provider would charge you 9 Eurocents. This amount would be due even if you got only 1 sales message.

In addition, some network providers charge a daily basis fee of 9 Eurocents. Those fees as well as the sales messages received do basically depend on your expected useful life of Zelfi-games or software and on your network provider’s rate.

Only the downloading or activation of a free Zelfi-game or other free Zelfi-software will exclusively enable a sales message’s transmittal to your mobile.

9. Is it possible to affect the frequentness of the sales messages? How many times does a sales message occur during the use of a free or advert-financed application?

The frequentness of the sales messages cannot be affected. It partly depends on the mobile game or on the software downloaded on the mobile. A short sales message can occur at an average interval of 5 minutes, normally between two levels.

10. What kinds of products and service are promoted on Zelfi’s platform?

The content of the sales messages depends on two basic points:
Your filled in user profile on the Zelfi-platform determines what kind of sales message is relevant for you. The more details you externalise voluntarily, the more informative will the sales message be for you.
The content depends on the advertising enterprises that are trying to contact the mobile’s user directly. There is a great variety of offers that allude to any imaginable topic (e.g. events, concerts, hints, information about enterprises in your region as well as gastronomy’s offer or retail products).

11. Is it possible to download games from the Zelfi-platform and even play them without those interfering sales messages?

13. What do I have to do to terminate the use of Zelfi?

When using free games or applications: As long as you don’t use the software of the Zelfi-platform (e.g. playing a Zelfi mobile game) no adverts will appear. A termination of the Zelfi-service is not necessarily required. The possibility of changing or terminating your user profile is permanent.

When buying software: Zelfi does not work with subscriptions and a credit system. Thus, a cancellation or deregistration won’t be necessary after having acquired from the Zelfi-website.
